A pleasant hike, but don't expect too much!

It's a shaded hike; bring hiking boot since it's rocky. I saw and heard lots of various birds. The trail is kind of straight, which doesn't make it fun, but I agree that the hike gets better as one goes on. The tree are tall, which is usual is NW Austin. It's a good little neighborhood hike, but I wouldn't drive out of my way to go there.
