Today was my first hike in a full blown rain storm with grear and poncho but no rain paints or snack food. The rain, The dam being under cionstruction and running into a snack just before the rain started made this hike just a bit stressful. But over all a worth while experience.

This day was a pretty nice one, there were only a few people there when I arrived, but it got a bit more busier as the day wore on. The walk along the beach was really exciting. The waves were active and my dog enjoyed running and playing in them. Again I carried my North face Recon pack and small fanny pack. So it was a good hike.
