My boyfriend and I started at the Nails Creek trail and looped around Flag Pond and went back.  There were few people overall but we did see a few groups every hour or so, possibly because it was the weekend.  Passed a few equestrians (the trail has quite a bit of horse "waste").  The trail is fairly rocky in some parts and hilly but manageable in sneakers.  However, there weren't many places to sit along the trail if you want to take a break and just enjoy nature.  We saw groups of white-tailed deer, a bunny, an opposum, and plenty of hawks circling.  It is very quiet and the forestry was pretty, but nothing too spectacular.  Bring mosquito repellent because they ate us alive.

Overall, It made for a great day trip and we thoroughly enjoyed our hike!! I definitely recommend this trail if you're a beginner like us.
