Comments:

Route   Playground parking area > Tasajilla Flats > Horny Toad > Nature Loop > park road (NE) to Isable Harte > Chaparral > Red Dam Loop > Chaparral > Playground parking area     4.7 miles

Temp start at 30, end at 37.  Sunny with slight, northerly winds.

Trails recently groomed so very easy to see and traverse; especially Red Dam Loop.  A few deer were out at first but quickly disappeared.  Quite a few birds were seen but they were mostly different kinds of sparrows with a couple of Meadowlarks.  Not much was going on but it was a pleasant hike nonetheless.

NOTES

Water, shade, info kiosk and toilets available at Playground parking area.
