Comments:

Out     Burkett park > Burkett trail > service road (ENE) > service road (W) > 5 Points Junction     2.5 miles

Return 5 Points Junction > Turkey Creek > Armadillo > East Potts Creek > Burkett trail > Burkett park    3.5 miles

Temps in the low 90's, partly cloudy, steady wind and slightly humid.

Almost all of the trails were dry with a few muddy spots.  Trails could use another trim but they were all passable.  No animal or reptiles seen, just some birds including this preening Roadrunner (photo attached).  Quite a few folks on the trails for Labor Day weekend !

NOTES

Water, shade, info kiosk and dry toilets available at Burkett park.

Water, shade and info kiosk available at 5 Points Junction.
