Route Playground parking area > Tasajilla Flats > Nature Loop (S) > Horny Toad > Tasajilla Flats > Playground parking area 3.0 miles

Temp in the mid 80's, overcast and light wind.

A short hike today. Tasajilla Flats trail has been partially cleared of high vegetation BUT the final section is still EXTREMELY choked with vegetation - be prepared!

Nature Loop and Horny Toad trails have been cleared. All the trails are "rockier" because the recent rains washed off the topsoil, so wear good shoes! Didn't see any wildlife and not many birds were out either.

NOTES Water, shade, info kiosk and toilets available at Playground parking area.
