Out   Playground parking area > Tasajilla Flats > Nature Loop > Lanky Lackey > Roller Coaster > West Potts Creek > Turkey Creek > 1st service road (East) > Playground Trail       5.6 miles

Return Playground Trail > Armadillo Trail > East Potts Creek > Burkett Trail > Winding Snake > Chaparral > Red Dam Loop > Chaparral > Playground parking area                          4.6 miles

Overcast with a good wind and mid 60's temperatures.  Saw a white tail doe right off the bat but no other large wild life.  Lots of birds including some black throated sparrows.

There were some mountain bikers enjoying the trails - a ll encounters were pleasant and civil.  I was surprised there weren't more folks on the trails but I am not complaining.

NOTES

Water, shade, info kiosk and toilets available at Playground parking area.

Water, shade, info kiosk and dry toilets available at Burkett Park (junction of Burkett and Winding Snake trails).
