Comments: I would suggest using the two car method and park at the two trailheads . One is in the state park and the other is in Jacksboro along the lake. The trail is very easy hike and gets very scenic in spots along the two lakes. This trail would be great for a causal bike ride. It is marked along the trail with bike signs describing slopes and turns. If you start the hike at the park the hike quickly takes you out of the city. There is one stretch along the airport for about mile that is pretty boring, but the overall hike is very scenic.
