I hiked mainly the area near the lake. There was lots of trash but the views of the lakes and hills were nice. Seems like a great place for a family hike.
Easy Hike, Close to Fort Worth

As most have said, the "hikes" are more of walks, but the trails are clearly marked and provide some scenery. I usually arrive first thing in the morning and always see deer. On hikes by the water, I can also usually catch ducks taking off as I come by.
Seems like a great place for kids and I rarely see people on the trails from 8am - noon.
