Comments:
Took the dog for a quick walk through this park. Wanted to test out a new frame I got for my ALICE pack. Not sure what trail I took. I just sort of headed straight out across a clearing until I got to a wooded area. Then I started following the first trail I found.

I didn't have a map of the area, but it appears that I was hiking on a bike trail. The path was deeply rudded, possibly ankle-twisting if one weren't careful.

I agree with the previous review that some of the loops and switchbacks seem unnecessary.

Also, I kept hearing gunshots in the distance. Not sure if there's a shooting range nearby or some guy taking target practice on his property. Also, there was a cow mooing somewhere, but that might have been the gun-owner's pet.

I realized I had reached the edge of the park when I encountered barbed wire.

I would say this place is good for testing out gear, but don't count on getting much exercise. The trails are relatively flat. The wooded area was nice and peaceful, though. When I went, there wasn't anyone else on the trails. Just a few people playing with their dogs in the meadow.
