Comments:

This park is nice, but small.  It borders a golf course near the entrance so it's hard to feel like your on a nature walk when you'll walking along a manicured golf course.

However, there is a lot of wildlife in this park.  I saw a lot of deer (20?) as well as some woodpeckers, cardinals, etc.  This park is home to the Pileated Woodpecker and if you're lucky you'll see them in action pecking away.

The park is nice along the Brazos River.  There are several connecting trails which were all in good shape and well marked.

This is really more of a picnicking and camping park in my opinion than a hiking park.  The trails are nice, but short.  I had a lot of time leftover so I drove out to Washington-On-The-Brazos State Historic Site to get some more hiking in the same day.
