Comments:

Nice morning hike. I started out on the Rojo Grande trail. Connected to Juniper Cliff Side, then Juniper River side, and finally Sunflower trail for a nice loop. There were very nice views, mostly on the canyon floor but still very challenging with the multiple dry creek crossings. There was limited solitude as I saw a steady stream of people hiking & biking and also in numerous cars on the park road which runs adjacent to most of the hike. I explored a cave on the Juniper Cliff Side trail, which was cool. There was lots of shaded areas along the way, so this could be a nice mid-day hike.

Note: there are some rentable cabins in this park which are perched on the rim of the canyon. Views from them should be fantastic. The cost is about $100 per night.
