Location: Elm Fork Trail

Rating: 3stars
Difficulty: 1star  Solitude: 3stars
Miles Hiked: 3.00 Miles  Elapsed Time: N/A

Comments: Possible to backpach a short distance in to some primitive campsites, although there is a picnic table at each site. A good way to initiate the kids to backpacking. The park has a nice large sandy beach, canoes and fishing. Thanks to Dorba there are many miles to hike here, but we chose the Elm fork trail that connects to the greenbelt. It is a new trail and more of a plowed path. Sandy in places, and horse traffic, but easy
