Comments:

Tyrrell Park is a large park that is home to a golf course.  Walking, jogging and biking is not allowed, but there is a place where you can hike many miles called Cattail Marsh.  See my track file for the location.  This is a good place for long distance hiking!

The walk around the marsh is interesting.  It's a great spot for bird watching and for getting some mileage in.  Be careful, though, as there are snakes and alligators in the area.

I only had time to walk a little less than half of the trails since I arrived late in the afternoon and ran out of daylight.  You can easily many more miles by taking the wider loops rather than the inner (shorter) loop that I took.  Consult my track file for where I walked vs where all of the trails are that run around the many marshes in the area.
