This trail is a concrete path that takes you along Halls Bayou. The path is wide and it runs through a not-so-nice part of town. The bayou is filled with trash, so it's not very photogenic. It is a good place to exercise and get some miles in, however. Just exercise caution and personal safety.
There are two trails that branch off from the Hike & Bike Trail. One takes you to Tidwell Park and the other takes you around Forest Brook High School. I hiked both of these along the way to get some additional mileage.
