Nice Municipal Park w/ Access To TRNWR

Liberty Municipal Park is a large park with many amenities, including athletic fields, picnic areas, play areas for children, and a long, paved trail that loops around the park. The park has many nice trees that provide shade and the park is well-maintained.
As an extra benefit, the park also offers access to a part of the Trinity River National Wildlife Refuge (TRNWR) via a new set of trails that are currently being developed. They are known as the Knobby Knees Trails and they are color coded - Orange (1.0 mile, loop), Green (0.5 miles, linear), and Red (3.0 miles, linear, indocumented). In the future, additional trails will be added to form a network of trails.
As part of my hike around Liberty Munical Park, I also hiked the Knobby Knees Trail (Orange) and part of the Knobby Knees Trail (Green) as my track file shows. I was forced to turn around, however, and I never made it to the Knobby Knees Trail (Red) because the trail was flooded by Wood Spring Creek and I could not circumnavigate or cross it. My understanding is that the TWPD has recently issued a $45,000 grant for trail improvements, including a bridge.
